Hand Surgeon
Dr. Miller completed an Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the Boston University School of Medicine in 2006 and was subsequently invited to join their academic faculty in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, where her practice consisted heavily of surgery of the hand.
In 2015, she decided to pursue a formal Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at the prestigious Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky. Upon completion of this fellowship, she relocated to Tampa and joined our team at Advanced Hand and Plastic Surgery Center.

Hand Therapist
In 2012, Advanced Hand & Plastic Surgery Center chose to expand our service options and increase the quality of care our patients could expect by adding an in-house Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist to our team. Roy Sulma, OTr/l, CHT, works closely with our doctors to create custom treatment plans for our patients who need Occupational Therapy.
Therapy provides non-operative interventions, preventative care, and post-operative rehabilitation for a wide variety of upper extremity disorders. Therapists employ many techniques and tools, including activity and exercise programs, custom orthotic fabrication, pain and swelling management, and wound and scar care. Therapy typically addresses the underlying issues that contribute to upper-extremity conditions and injuries.
